After busting out a three-hour interview sesh in Midtown, I hustled to Niemans for Simone I. Smith's (LL COOL J's wife) launch of her self-named signature jewelry line. The champagne was flowing, the music was jumpin, hoops were hoopin and the who's who of Atlanta made appearances.

Seeking inspiration from a pair of gold "doorknockers" hoop earrings she received from LL back in the 80s, Simone's vision for her year-old-line is voluminous statement pieces that the everyday woman can rock.

After a few toddies at the Intercontinental Hotel with my co-worker, Cumulus hosted Rascal Flats for their national conference at the Buckhead Theater.
With a bevy of fresh refreshments, (aka vodka's and waters with limes) one turned into 10 and before we knew it we were knee-deep in libations and possible beaouxs.
