The Up-Top Accessory
Rocking a headband is an adventurous, audacious declaration. But isn't that what fashion is? Taking risk, trying luck and staying atop of trends. So when I attempted my first headpiece, I annoyingly-almost obnoxiously-questioned everyone in site asking if I looked outlandish and uncanny. To much of my marvel,it was the hit of the night (as seen below at the Atlantan six year anniversary party at the Biltmore Hotel in Midtown).
Thanks to Summer of Dauphines of New York-Luxury Hair Accessories, she sent me "The Flower Child" headband (which retails for $125) and let me say simply: I am obsessed.
Paired with a whimsical top, blinged-out Jimmy Choo's and a simple pair of black shorts, the outfit was a complete success.

The second time I pulled the headband look was during my first-ever music "festival" at Candler Park. I purchased it (and the outfit for that matter at American Apperal) only a few hours prior to the event.Let me just say, it was a great conversation starter. Hint to the single ladies: If you want a guy to initiate convo (which I NEVER make the first move, remember it's ALL a game), add this little accessory up-top.
(The headband was only $4.50 at American Apparel at the Shops Around Lenox)
I even turned my girlfriends on to the look. (Two curious words that should never be in the same sentence, but oh well. I guess Fifty Shades of Gray is really getting to me.)
In other news, MAJOR interviews will be going down on Thursday. So excited. Cheers, dolls...it's almost hump day.
